A dense series of minimalist krautrock psychedelic vignettes.

Conceived as an attempt to apply the concepts of minimalism to psychedelic / spacerock / krautrock, What is the Value of X? was the final album Max recorded in Novy Mir Studios in Brisbane, and was also a reaction to the lengthy process of recording Alpha Omega's album The Psychedelometer.
